Last month, we partnered with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) to help millions of students better prepare for college and careers.
The CZI and College Board partnership is open to every high school in America. Through this effort, we’re expanding access to unique, personalized learning pathways and bringing successful initiatives to scale to help make it easier for students to show their best work.
That includes introducing more students to free, personalized preparation tools through Official SAT® Practice on Khan Academy®. New findings show that studying for the SAT on Official SAT Practice for 20 hours is associated with an average score gain of 115 points. Researchers confirmed that practice advanced students regardless of their gender, race, income, and high school GPA.
We’re also partnering with schools and districts in more in-depth ways:
•Connecting more students to near-peer advisers through the College Advising Corps to provide personalized college planning advice.
•Bringing AP® Computer Science Principles to more students across the country to introduce them to the foundational concepts of computer science and explore how technology can impact the world.
This work can only happen because of partners like you who are committed to helping students succeed in college and careers. We encourage you to share this information with your staff and colleagues, and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in joining this effort.
Because when young people see a path to opportunity that’s personal, meaningful, and practical, they won’t walk, they’ll run.
