Mosley High School is located in Northwest Florida in beautiful Panama City. Here every member of our diverse student body has the opportunity to excel, whether in the classroom, on the stage, or on the athletic field. Always keeping a tradition of excellence, Mosley has been an A or B school every year since 2003. In fact, Mosley has earned an “A” score an unprecedented seven times.
In 2015, A. Crawford Mosley High School was awarded the distinction by U.S. News and World Report of being one of the top 5% of high schools in the United States (#1117 out of 21,000 U.S. high schools) and in the top 9% of Florida High Schools (#84 out of 889 Florida High Schools). This recognition was earned by all of our faculty and staff as well as our students. This distinction earns us a Silver medal award. GO DOLPHINS!!!
Mosley’s Advanced Placement Program for Success (MAPPS) offers a wide variety college-level classes, including twenty-one AP classes and nineteen Dual-Enrollment classes. The Mosley IT Academy, the Pre-Med Program, the Culinary Program and the Engineering Program as well as our award winning Marine Corps Junior ROTC program are also available for specialized education in key career fields. In fact, in 2016, our JROTC program earned the coveted award of “Naval Honor School.” The only school in Florida to earn this honor.
Outside the classroom, Mosley students continue to strive for excellence. From our many championship sports teams to our award-winning drama department, choir, and band, Mosley High School offers a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities. In addition, Mosley’s forty-three clubs provide students myriad recreational and service activities. Not only do Mosley Dolphins know how to have fun; they also raise thousands of dollars for charity and dedicate hundreds of hours to community service each year.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Nelson family, in September 2016, construction began on our 6 million dollar Gretchen Nelson Scott Performing Arts Center. This “crowning jewel” for Mosley High School will be on the corner of Mosley Dr. and Minnesota Avenue. We are conducting a fundraising effort to support and upgrade the entrance plaza for this beautiful building. Please visit the web page as well as our Facebook page often for further information on how you, our wonderful alumni and supporters, can help.
The Mosley IT Academy is now in charge of the website. Student Webmaster Max Nagler and editors Ethan Bennett and Laura Lasater maintain the website under the tutelage and direction of Tommy Davis (firstname.lastname@example.org).
